JEFFJACK Apartments, 601 W Jackson Blvd, Chicago

JeffJack Apartments is located at the corner of Jefferson and Jackson Streets, downtown Chicago.  Along Jefferson Street, the building mimics the original manufacturing lofts, with large punched windows in masonry walls.  Along Jackson Boulevard, a light glassy box turns the corner, covered with bright green mullions that wave across the façade, reminiscent of Illinois prairie grass.

JeffJack features post-tensioned flat plate floors and concrete shear walls.
