LA RABIDA CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL, Chicago

The redevelopment of inpatient facilities at La Rabida Children’s Hospital called for expanding two connected buildings to increase the number of patient rooms and to provide the entire hospital with a unified design.

A new addition to the second floor of the Finnegan Building was created, as well as an addition to the link between the Finnegan Building and adjacent Black Building.

The renovated facility contains expanded nursing support areas, communal play, dining, and activity areas.
